Our years in business have not only given us a heap
of expertise—they’ve granted us a load of trust. Doctors,
advertisers, lawyers, artists, vets, teachers, researchers,
athletes, actors, writers, journalists, cops, judges,
students musicians, bankers, moms, dads, retirees—
they’ve all relied on us. Even a list of celebrities.
From the ones you see in the news to the ones you don’t.

What makes us happy: that so many different people
count on us. What’ll make you happy: we wouldn’t dream
of telling you who they are. That’s between them, their
schedules and their pets.

Bitter Sweet

While we get to meet and care for so many amazing characters
throughout years of sitting, boarding, walking, and training,
we also have the misfortune of seeing the cycle of life. The cruel
truth is that we live longer than our pets. When old age or
disease claims one of our clients’ dogs or cats we are sadly
always at a loss for words. What we can do is offer a memorial
that we hope will mean something. We support animal charities.
And when a pet leaves us, we choose a charity for a donation
that we believe in. If you’d like to do the same—or just find out

It’s our chance to give back.

Our Story On Your Pets’ Story

Because Duke and Mittens can’t tell you themselves what happened while
you were away we make sure that we do. After each walk and every boarding
or cat visit session, the staff will leave a friendly note about their time spent
with your pet. The notes are both informative, fun and cohesive. They’re like
a written snapshot.

From mischievous to contemplative, the mood and care of the animal you
care about most is recorded as best as we can. Some of them are really
very amusing—if we had a book of notes past, there’d be a best-seller in
there somewhere. We hope you enjoy them too.

De Head to De-tail

Some clients are surprised at how much information we collect
on your pets. It’s amazing how much there is. But it’s all
important. Cats and dogs have as many varying personalities,
health issues, habits and quirks as we do. Every one of them
can mean the difference between good service and great service.
We prefer great. So the carefully considered profiles we have
new clients fill out and ensure long-time clients update cover all
of it. Your contact information, your pets’ feeding information,
preferences, vet and health details, and practically everything
you can think of is all collected and kept both on file and in
our software. Amazingly, it only takes a few minutes to fill out.
But it makes all the difference.
