Whether you're interested in group or private classes, we'll be sure that you have all the tools and tactics to produce well-socialized, well-behaved pup who grows into a dog that your home, kids, family and friends can adore as much as you do. The most important thing to remember is that you're not training a puppy - you're training a future dog.

We'll work on learning to teach your dog to come when called, we'll focus on stay, down, off, take it, leash walking, bathroom etiquette, bite inhibition, jumping and teaching your pup to settle down when needed.

We're also sure to provide you with homework to ensure that you and your family can enforce the training you've learned in class and follow up material, so you can review as often and as regularly as needed.

We focus first on the most pressing issues for you. These vary for everyone, so in private lessons, we like to allow 'pet parents' to choose the order of importance and focus. You and your dog will have the opportunity to learn all the techniques you'll need for a successful owner-dog relationship without the distractions of other puppies and owners. Everyone wants something specific from their relationship with their dog; we'll make sure that your training reflects the dog you'd like to have.

One the greatest pleasures a dog has is the freedom to run un-tethered and care-free. Whether it's chasing a wayward leaf, its own tail, or frolicking with a group of other dogs, we can help you make this one of your greatest pleasures too. By practicing several proven methods of responsiveness training, you'll be able to work towards having a canine companion who you can rely on returning to you and playing safely with others amid a number of diversions, all of varying distraction levels.

As we like to emphasize that people get pets for all kinds of different reasons and have different requirements of their ideal pet-owner relationship, there may be specific training you'd like to pursue. We're happy to arrange private lessons to suit any need from tricks to better manners when guests come to visit. We also offer help with barking, separation anxiety and aggression.
